Alta Montaña

Saliendo a partir de las 07:30 Hs. tomando la ruta Nacional Nº 7 hacia el oeste mendocino, donde el Rió Mendoza nos va acompañando todo el recorrido, pasando por el espejo de agua del Dique Potrerillos, también visitamos la Villa de Uspallata, situada a 100 Km. aproximadamente de la Ciudad de Mendoza , luego recorreremos pequeños poblados situados en la margen del rió que eran utilizados por gente que trabajaba en el ferrocarril  (hoy abandonado),  pasaremos por Penitentes, uno de los Centros de Ski más importantes de Mendoza, Puente de Inca, el Mirador del Aconcagua, que esta situado en el ingreso del Parque Provincial Aconcagua y por último  visitamos Las Cuevas (llegando al ingreso del Túnel Internacional que nos hermana con Chile), para luego emprender el regreso hacia la ciudad de Mendoza

Si las condiciones climáticas lo permiten subiremos  hasta el monumento al Cristo Redentor (4200 m.s.n.m)

Driving by route Nº7, we go through all the most important and typical views of Mendoza´s Andes

We’ll appreciate Mendoza River during the all journey. Just a few kilometers away from Mendoza we’ll visit Potrerillos Lake and its dam, the one who provides water to Mendoza city

After that, Uspallata Valley, located at 100 km from Mendoza. We will also visit pretty smalls villages, who had been in charge of the maintenance of the railway, currently out of service

After that Penitentes ski resort, one of the most important of Mendoza and The amazing Puente del Inca (Inca’s Bridge) and the grandiose Aconcagua Park (the highest mountain in America

Finally Las Cuevas and the entrance of the tunnel that serves as the International border with Chile

Depending on the weather´s condition, we’ll visit the monument “Cristo Redentor”, an historical monument between Argentina and Chile, and which is the highest point of our trip (4200 m/a/s/l)
