Posada Cavieres Bed & Breakfast is located on the wine route of Maipú, the premier wine zone of Mendoza and has four wineries in walking distance. The posada is situated on a 14 hectare farm with vineyards and olive plantations, about 20 kilometres from the centre of Mendoza.

The building is a renovated adobe country house (house made of mud bricks) and has three spacious bedrooms, each with private bathroom. Breakfast consists of home-made bread and regional products. An equipped kitchen is available for guests to prepare other meals. We also offer regional meals or a typical argentine asado.

Popular activities include cycling the wine route, horse riding, trips to the mountains, and wine tasting at the surrounding wineries. We have a small fleet of bicycles available for our guests’ use. Cycling down the quiet lanes is an ideal way to see the countryside and to visit local wineries.

We are happy to arrange tailor-made visits to local vineyards and wineries, and to organise wine tastings. Breakfast is included. We offer home-baked bread, local honey, our own jam and seasonal fruit juice, plus freshly made tea and coffee. Also we haveour own line of wines: Cavieres Wine. Wines produced by small wineries.

Kitchen facilities. The guest kitchen is available at all times should guests wish to prepare a meal using local produce. Guests are also invited to enjoy regional dishes cooked in our mud-brick oven.

Evening meals can be prepared for guests to enjoy with a bottle of local wine.
We produce our own olive oil and jam. We harvest and press oil from our olive groves. Our olive oil is sold locally and guests can also select from a range of home-made jams and preserves.
