Leaving Mendoza by Front Range, to arrive at San Antonio (2500th), where our adventure began.

Hiking / winter ascent. Veguita / Arenales º C / º C Lomas Blancas
Program:

Leaving from the tourist circuit Mendoza Potrerillos will access to the mountain front of the Silver Cord. From San Antonio, 2,500 meters, after the preparation of equipment and a brief chat guide initiated the march following the course of the river ice Blanco. Opening passage through the snow to get Veguita (3,100 meters), the summit of Cerro Arenales (3,600 meters) or Lomas Blancas (3800 m) ..

Duration: approx 4 hours

Includes: transport, professional bilingual guides, coffee and mineral water.

Personal Equipment: warm comfortable clothes (ski), trekking shoe type, warm jacket, gloves, sunglasses, hat and backpack small

Crossing snow with snowshoes
Experience this ancient method of walking on the snow, which allows us to access in winter to areas that otherwise would be inaccessible to us.

Using snowshoes snow we get for Quebrada de Arenales, towards the top of the hill at 3600 meters.

Duration: approx 4 hours

In return, we will stop at the Great Stone for declines in abseiling and crossing the frozen river by the White Tyrolese.
